Description of the activity
The management system certification body verifies an organization’s ability to implement a system for managing aspects of its activities, products, and services in line with its policy and the requirements established by applicable regulatory frameworks.
Compliance with these requirements aims to ensure that certification bodies perform management system certification competently, consistently, and impartially, thus facilitating the recognition of these bodies and the acceptance of their certifications nationally and internationally.

Conformity assessment — Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems
Document issued
The validity of the management system is certified by the certificate of conformity issued by the accredited certification body that performed the assessment.
What the certificate guarantees
The system certificate guarantees that the certified organization has the ability to perform certain processes at specific locations during the certification’s validity period.
What the certificate does NOT guarantee
The system certificate does not guarantee the organization’s legal compliance, nor that the product/service conforms to a reference standard.
