Description of the activity
The persons certification body verifies that certain professional figures possess, maintain, and improve over time the necessary competence, understood as the set of knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the assigned tasks.

Conformity assessment – General requirements for bodies operating certification of persons
Document issued
A professional’s skills are certified by a certificate of conformity issued by the accredited certification body that performed the assessment.
What the certificate guarantees
The certificate issued to a person guarantees that the certified person has specific competence (detailed in terms of knowledge, skills, responsibility, and autonomy).
What the certificate does NOT guarantee
The certificate does not guarantee that the certified person performs a service that complies with a specific standard.
