Description of the activity

A testing laboratory is a public or private organization that operates under its own name or within a company or public institution to perform analyses, tests, and diagnoses in a variety of sectors, depending on the specific clients it serves.
The market segments in which the laboratory operates may be private or regulated by legislative provisions, when specific public health and safety needs are identified (such as for food and health protection).

Document issued

The validity of laboratory tests is certified by the test report, issued by the testing laboratory that performed the assessment.

What the report guarantees

The test report details the characteristics of a specific object, a result obtained using a documented test method.

What the report does NOT guarantee

The test report does not guarantee that this result will remain the same even if the test method changes.

Application for accreditation

To submit the application for accreditation, you must request login information to the «DA-online» portal, where the web version of the DA-02 All.1 must be completed.

Login information must be requested by emailing info@accredia.it. If using a certified email address, the request should be sent to dl_accredia@legalmail.it.

The following information must be included in the request email:

• Contact name
• Laboratory name
• Laboratory VAT number and tax code
• Contact email (preferably use emails with the laboratory’s domain, not personal ones).

You will receive an email with instructions for choosing a password. Once you have logged in to the «DA-online» portal, you can choose and select the laboratory tests you wish to apply for accreditation. The information will be automatically recorded in the system.

The DA-online FAQ section contains answers to the most frequently asked questions about the application.

The accreditation application process must be completed by filling forms DA-00 – Application for Accreditation, DA-02 – Application for Accreditation of Testing Laboratories, and the attachments included therein.
