Accreditation for sustainability
The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by world leaders at the United Nations, is a broad and ambitious plan of action. At its core are 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and 169 targets with the overarching objective of leaving no one behind. The positive impact of the accreditation and of the accredited services (testing, calibration, certification, inspection, validation and verification) is therefore clearly aligned with the SDGs, and provides with the solutions to implement, measure and monitor many of these objectives and targets.
With the universal language of the illustration, this brochure depicts the benefits of the accreditation and of the accredited services for the support and the implementation of the 17 SDGs in our political, social, economic and daily life context.
